The combination of purple and orange has been dubbed as porange and a lot of celebrities followed the trend. However, it's necessary to be careful in having the said style because not all really works well. My favorite is Nicole Scherzinger. She gave justice to fashion enthusiasts tagging paring purple and orange style as "it" style of the season.

In that way, I was informed of their latest campaigns like Skechers Shape Ups. Honestly, my favorite is the Bobs By Skechers line. I'm really dreaming of having a pair of it. :)

We've just featured her in this blog, showing the cute feather hair extensions she had. Now, I've read online that Selena Gomez performs after hospitalization. Claiming she was malnourished and exhausted, fans were clamoring to know her health status as of now. Via Twitter, she said she's alright. I'm getting fond of writing about Selena Gomez, performs after hospitalization news made me a fan.

Not only that, The Daily Mail also reported that Selena Gomez Performs After Hospitalization at Santa Monica for the first time after her emergency trip to the hospital last Thursday. 

Exhibit Of Cavite Made Products

After my meeting in the office, I dropped by Lotus Mall at Imus last June 3, 2011. I've noticed that there's an activity in the second floor, the exhibit of Cavite made products sponsored by the provincial government. So, I had the chance to discover amazing finds.

 I had only interviewed three groups of entrepreneurs who are participants of the exhibit of Cavite made products. The first one is Sweet Style Beadworks. I'm so familiar with this accessories line because it's listed at Cavite.info. However, I can't share pictures with you since I'm not allowed to take pictures of their products. The second one is the I. Tobari's Enterprise. They're selling Papaya Plus Herbal Whitening soap. I bought three pieces of their soaps that day. The last one is the Muscovado de Magallanes. I also sampled their products and gave it to my mother-in-law. Since the muscovado is organic, it's okay for persons with diabetes.

Honestly, I felt pride in the development of the province in terms of crafts, tourism and food industry. I hope there's another exhibit of Cavite made products in the future, something that's bigger. Trendy Karen will support it, if course! :)

First things first, I was smitten by it's heavenly mix of colors. The marriage of lace and leather made me dream of writing a love story. Miss Sicily handbag inspires, that is.

This Dolce and Gabbana creation is clean, fab and inspiring. The top handle isn't common, I must say.

Lifting Lanterns During The First Nuffamily Day By Nuffnang

I want to share this post by sharing a numbered thoughts about the First Nuffamily Day by Nuffnang and several sponsors. I'm going to focus on the Lifting of Lanterns part.

1. It's my first time to participate in a  Lifting of Lanterns event.

Imus 2nd Ward Activity

I know this post should have been written last week, but because of the series blogger events, I have to put the task on hold. The Imus 2nd Ward activity for the community service program was held at Mary Cris Complex, Malagasang. We attended the culmination of their Brigada Eskwela. Of course, I had fun.

The teachers were so happy we joined the

activity. I participated cleaning a classroom

for Grade 2 students.

My mother-in-law gave the blouse to me last

Christmas. He (hubby) gave me the bag as

a random gift. :)

For sure, I'll participate in the next scheduled community service for Imus 2nd Ward. How about you? What activities organized in your Ward that you've participated lately? 

Fashion Trends Feather Hair Extentions

Alright, I now concede that feather hair extensions is the "it" accessory of this time. I've read over Yahoo that more and more women want to have this latest adornment on their hair. It could be that the bright and bold plumage provided fame and glamour for women in other part of the globe. But I saw Steven Tyler in American Idol wear feather hair extensions (correct me if I'm wrong, darlings!). Here's Selena Gomez with that chic fashion add on.

But, I have comments for feather hair extensions. We're aware that these tool has been reserved for the fly fishing industry. Many news reports even stated that it affected the fishing industry because more and more stylists are buying bird feathers at a higher rate. The demand is huge but the production is slow. I'm think a lot of birds should be killed just to take hackle feathers. This practice, to meet the demands of hackle feathers go against the principles of ethical fashion. Well, let's see if this hairstyle craze will just fade by time. :)

When I dropped by The Daily Mail to check on news about Kate Middleton, I was greeted with an amusing and interesting article entitled, "Move Over Imelda Marcos, How Suri Cruise Already Has A $150,000 Shoe Collection". I was amazed, and then, think of Imelda Marcos shoes. Later on, I'm more amazed that at an age of five, Suri Cruise shoe collection reaching $150,000  is now very noticeable via the web.

Since the age of three, she's been wearing heels. Have you noticed that in some of her photos online? To have a custom-made designs from Marc Jacobs and Christian Louboutin? She's really that fashion conscious! That's why I'm not surprised of this news by The Daily Mail that: "Last month Suri came 21st in a list of Glamour Magazine reader's style icon, surpassing Lady Gaga and Sarah Jessica Parker in ranking". So, move over Imelda Marcos, Suri Cruise shoe collection is the recent hype! :)

Purple Reign Beyond Nature

If you're a member of Chictopia, you're aware that I've posted this topic in the said website. I'm loving my love of purple now, including Lavender hues. Forever 21 At SM Makati City

Honestly, going to Megamall just to visit Forever 21 is hard for me. It's very far from our place, that's why. So, I was really happy that there's Forever 21 At SM Makati City. Although I wasn't able to attend the opening of the store because of hectic schedule, I was really excited to visit the place. My first stop there happened before the Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening of X-Men First Class.

I'm sure you will agree with me that this dress

is fabulous. I like color and design.

He (hubby) said these shoes spell awesome.

I had a dress before with the same color. However, I 

like this design compared to such an old apparel.

Many blogger friends write posts about Forever 21 at SM Makati. If you like, just Google reviews of the said store and its fabulous products. Besides, I agree with a friend that their products are affordable. :)

Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening X-Men First Class

I was really hoping to be part of the Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening X-Men First Class. That's why minutes after the promo was available to join online, I immediately wrote a post in my Fashion Trends blog. Thankfully, I was in the list to attend the event with another invite of my choice.

Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening X-Men First Class event was fun-filled. Prior to the activity, we went to check my favorite places and stores. In fact, I had a chance to taste again KFC Spicy Hot Shots. It's really my favorite. :)


I saw a lot of bloggers who attended the Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening X-Men First Class event. I had also a chance to drop by at Forever 21 Makati.
