Thunderbird Resorts In Rizal

This is my last post about the recent Bloggers Fest held at Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal. In fact, I'll be sharing designs by Karen before this post ends. I'll share photos and some thoughts here.

This was taken before the event started.

I had this white nail color from Cutex. Actually, this was part of the
manicure set that StyleBible gave me last month as prizes.

This was taken at the entrance hall of Thunderbird
Resorts in Rizal.

Finally, I'd like to share my latest designs by Karen. This time, I want to express one of my favorite styles, the shift dress. I wrote about this via my other blog. Here's it is.

Designs By Karen Collar Necklace

It's nice to know that there are many ways to make use of old clothing. Although I've donated many of my old things, I kept some and thought of finding ways to recycle and reuse. Like this Designs By Karen Collar Necklace.

You're right. This is easy to make. Here's what you'll need.

clean old blouse with a nice and fashionable collar

scissors

beads and other decor, if needed

Just cut the collar of a clean old blouse to create a beautiful necklace. You can decorate your creation using beads and ribbons, if you want. I chose not to, because I want a plain collar necklace. It's something that looks professional.

Notice that I'm wearing the collar necklace with an illusion of wearing a blouse.
 But, I'm only wearing a white shirt with a D & G colorful sleeveless.

Recycled Shoes For Home Decor

Hi everyone! I'm inspired to share with you a post about recycled shoes for home decor. My love of trendy and beautiful shoes is evident in this post. I got these shoes in a thrift store two years ago. I was shopping then for wedding shoes. I thought of visiting our local thrift store to find inspiration when I saw the said shoes.

In order to have a reason to buy the shoes, I thought of recycling it for home decor. I had some flowery items, glue and glitters before so I started decorating the shoes. Here's what I got.

How To Recycle Fashion Accessories

Recycling fashion accessories is an exciting hobby. Personally, I like variety in all my accessories. That's why I love recycling and making a new product out of what I've owned before.

This time, our project is a simple necklace. I had lost pair of earrings in different designs that I used as pendant. The result is really nice. Here's what I mean.
