Maybelline Tinted Lip Balm Review

In my trendy essentials pouch, I have also my Maybelline Tinted Lip Balm. That's my solution every time I encounter dry lips dilemma. This Cranberry Jam Maybelline Tinted Lip Balm is my best remedy for the said problem.

I like the product because... it helps to protect my lips from dryness. I've mentioned this in my other blog. The Maybelline Lip Smooth Color and Care product is a refreshing tinted lip balm. Beauty inside out. Beauty and brains. Whatever it is, the endless craving of a young lady or a woman to be beautiful isn't boring. But this shouldn't be understood in that order. First, there's the effort to be beautiful. Then, the freedom to do good or bad surfaces in every decision-making. Later on, you'll think of all your actions as a human being.


There will be questions about being a blessing to others, coupled with the thought of being a daughter of God. But, what if being a natural man usually breaks in the process? Yes. The natural man is an enemy to God. What should a daughter of God choose in times of trials?

Being kind or cruel? Being selfless or selfish? 

What about the choice between being proud and forgiving? 

It's not easy, but the Lord provides all the guidance that we need.

On Being Forgiving and Kind. It's not always easy to be forgiving and kind. There will be times of confusion and contention. Under the process of repentance, I'm willing to stay on track.

Trendy Karen Pink Invasion

Pink is also a bright shade, except baby pink of course. It's undeniable that it's my favorite color. I hear a lot of comments that most of my blouses, skirts and accessories project pink hues. I'm not surprised because in my heart, pink is really my signature color.

That's why I always feel at home with my pink invasion syndrome. 

In the world of fashion, shades of pink is considered elegant. 

When paired with black, an outfit will sure shout a threat of awesomeness. :)

Thunderbird Resorts In Rizal

This is my last post about the recent Bloggers Fest held at Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal. In fact, I'll be sharing designs by Karen before this post ends. I'll share photos and some thoughts here.

Bloggers Fest At Thunderbird Resorts Rizal

Because of my intense search engine optimization efforts a few weeks ago, I've come across of an invitation to attend Bloggers Fest at Thunderbird Resorts Rizal area via Manila Bloggers Network. When I learned that my friend (hubby) signed up for it, I decided to sign up too. Fortunately, we were included in the 200 bloggers or more to attend such an exciting and I call bloggers-prestigious event held in one of the best resorts chain in the country or even worldwide. I was excited then, in fact I dutifully read and remember Azrael's emails for its updates.

This is the events hall of Thunderbird Resorts Rizal.

All I can say is that the said event is very organized. Although we arrived in the venue a little late, but I really didn't care because I had the chance to visit the place. I enjoyed having pictures via Bicapture and other photographers present during the occasion. Aside from the fact that the resort is amazing, the food is delicious and I learned many things from the talk presented by different bloggers.

Upon arrival, we received this loot bag. Nice, right?

Before, being part of Bloggers Fest is just a dream. Thanks to the organizers, sponsors and the people who creatively and passionately allowed more and more bloggers to meet and learn from each other. Indeed, my attendance in the said huge bloggers festival is a dream come true.

Healthy Foods To Eat

In this post, I would like to talk about healthy foods to eat. I thought of writing about this topic because I wanted to change my attitude when it comes to eating the right kind of food. Although I'm not a junk food eater, I like to eat oily foods like fried chicken. I know eating too much of it isn't good.


Our health depends on what we eat and how we care for our body. Our environment is changing too fast that it affects our health. So we need to be conscious on our eating habits. We need to be committed with eating nutritious foods and having daily exercise.

I like carrots too.

I've read in a blog about healthy foods to eat. The blogger pointed out best foods to store at home. Some of the best foods include sweet potatoes, mangoes, unsweetened yogurt, broccoli, wild salmon, watermelon and green leafy vegetables. I like eating green leafy vegetables but I don't usually eat unsweetened yogurt. I should start eating it this time.


My other favorites include carrots and papaya. I like eating carrots before eating breakfast. On the other hand, I eat papaya before I take breakfast too. But before eating it, I take some chunks and use it as facial cleansers. Yes, I use real papaya fruit to do it. After a few minutes, I clean my face with water.

Papaya is also my favorite.

Reading Vogue's Irreverent Brides fueled my imaginative mind. Wedding scenes filled my imagination. The elegance of conventional white wedding gown made me so thrilled. Just because my dream of wearing such kind of wedding dress happened, I have no right to not welcome my thoughts about irreverent brides. Through Fashion Trends By Vogue, let's have an imaginative mind.

Irreverent brides are those who chose to wear unconventional wedding dress during their big day. Let's start to imagine these. There's a bride who wants to wear black on her wedding day. The wedding gown should be designed to match her Gothic make up. She should stand out among the crowd of well wishers who should wear any color except black. Is it possible? It sounds weird but very possible.

What about a bride who wants pink hues in her wedding gown? An off white gown sprinkled with baby pink hues all around the waist and in some other parts of the dress. Is it allowed? The answer is a qualified yes, because it's subject to different issues.

Fashion trends by Vogue is really amazing. At Vogue, I've come across of a bride who couldn't decide on whether to wear long or short wedding gown. It's amazing that she did both. Vogue shared a nice photo to explain what I mean.

I've noticed that many fashion enthusiasts and beauty bloggers love to write about food and cooking in their blogs. They usually share their favorite restaurants and menus, their outfit while dining and chatting with friends and also their attendance and participation in food bloggers events. Cavite is one of the historical places that I adore. We're new in the place but I already noticed wonderful things around me.
